The Ammex Corporation, founded in 1988, began as a one-man operation. Through dedication, hard work, and a vision for high-quality barrier protection and infection control products, the company has since grown substantially.
Today, the Ammex Corporation employs over 275 people and has a presence in 10 cities across the globe. By 1996, the company had established warehouses on both the East and West coasts of the United States. Initially, the only buyers came from dental and medical industries, but as technology advanced, the benefits of protective gloves became apparent across multiple sectors.
In 2005, the Ammex Corporation entered the Chinese market, known for its thousands of manufacturing facilities, and established offices in Southeast Asia the following year. In 2008, the company hit its first 1,000 customers, and two years later, began retail distribution, making it easier for smaller enterprises to obtain high-quality protective gloves.
A major milestone occurred in 2015 when the Ammex Corporation began selling its products online, leading to rapid growth.
Today, the company offers premium-quality gloves made from nitrile, latex, and vinyl.
Nitrile gloves offer the highest chemical and puncture resistance, making them ideal for heavier tasks. They feature a Raised Diamond Texture for superior grip and resistance against tears, rips, and a variety of chemicals.
Latex gloves, made from natural rubber, offer the best fit and high puncture and chemical resistance. These gloves are commonly used in medical and dental industries due to their precision and comfort.
Lastly, vinyl gloves are the least resistant and used for light industries, sanitation, and food handling. The Ammex Corporation offers three brands: Ammex Professional, Gloveworx, and X3.
