bossertrot - 1989 fälschung sport evolution

I first saw this M3 late last year, when I stopped by Gary Bossert's place on the way out of New York City. Gary is the second owner, the car originally being purchased by Mark Morrissey (who incidently owns an E36 M3 LTW and just purchased another E30 M3). Mark, not being satisfied with the paint when new, convinced BMW to completely 1989 e30 M3 - Bossertrot
respray the car. While this E30 M3 is technically Cinnabar Red, the color is actually a darker shade of red and in my humble opinion, more attractive than Cinnabar. Nonetheless, since the color is not Cinnabar it needed a name so something commemorating the owner seemed appropriate - Bossertrot. The color of this M3 is just one of the few distinguishing characteristics. The car is a 90% replica of the Sport Evolution. Gary outfitted this US M3
17" AC Schnitzer wheel / Comp T/A - e36 offset with a full 2.5 liter Sport Evolution drivetrain -- from airbox to tailpipes. The car sports a complete Turner Motorsport suspension, full Sport Evolution adjustable splitter and spoiler, not to mention gorgeous 17" AC Schnitzer wheels which just happen to have the centers finished in a color a few shades darker than the Nogaro Silver found on the 16" forged Sport Evolution BBS wheels. There is no lack of other Motorsport goodies on this car and its condition, as you will see in the following photos, is fantastic.
